5/30/2023 0 Comments Zotz bandcampThis is an album that embraces you, while you embrace it. We need more songs about peace, love, understanding, and communication. In this day and age I welcome any album as peaceful as Local Honey. Perhaps a rethink of the last cover is in order, but otherwise this is a brilliant album. She can also interpret songs as well, turning them into her own. Zotz has a great deal of talent and can write some fine songs. There is more than enough variety of styles to keep the listener interested, and the album has a beautiful flow to it. The album is full of great songs, such as the second single, “Good Bones” (co-written by Bryan WIlliston), “Pirouette” and a beautifully arranged version of the Christmas carol “All Through The Night”, which makes one wish she might consider a Christmas album. It is a remarkable song, lyrically and musically. The song continues with Zotz personifying ‘peace’. Then there are songs such as “Peace Sweet Peace”, which starts with finger snaps, piano and almost a mantra “ Peace, sweet peace/Peace, sweet peace”. Zotz is looking to create a tranquil and peaceful album reflecting her contentment and love in her life. ![]() Really Excited to share this amazing feature about my work on bandcamp Daily. Lyrically, the album is focused around peace and love. MEXICO Nov 18 with automelodi, the always great mvtant666 and ZOTZ. Zotz has help on the album - former Two Roads Home member, Bryan Williston (guitar), Gary Craig (drums), Tom Serstis (bass, percussion), Chris Saunders (guitars), Chris Rawlings (guitar, recorder), Alana Bridgewater (backing vocals), Jim Hodgkinson (piano), Dan Gooch (flugel horn, keyboards), Seana Lee Wood (guest vocalist), and co-producer Steve Sherman (guitar). “See Your Face” would be the perfect way to end the album. It is arranged and produced perfectly and is simply brilliant. “See Your Face” is a beautiful melody and has very emotional lyrics that tear at the heart. Quite frankly, the only misfire on the album is the cover of “You’ll Never Know”, which is a beautiful song, but just does not fit and is somewhat anticlimactic after the stunning “See Your Face”. Zotz is able to bring all the genres together to form a fantastic and cohesive album. It is hard to actually define her music, as it has strands of pop, folk, cabaret, Broadway and country. Local Honey has been a long time coming and was an obvious next step for Zotz. This is Zotz’s first solo album, and although it seems to be coming late in her career, it has the feel of a true debut. That band featured Bryan Williston, who co-wrote four songs on this album, Local Honey. ![]() ![]() She has formed and participated in several bands since the 1980s, released one album with MadriGALS, and two albums with the band Two Roads Home. ![]() Music has taken her on paths she may not have imagined, but it has been a big part of her life. Local dietary habits, environmental exposures, and genetic susceptibility deserve investigation in this population.Abby Zotz has been making music for most of her life. The risk in the Bidayuh people was 2.3-fold (M) and 1.9-fold (F) higher than the Sarawak average, and about 50% higher than that in Hong Kong-the highest recorded by any population-based registry for the same period. The age-adjusted rate (ASR) in Sarawak residents was 13.5/100,000 and 6.2/100,000 (95% CI 5.7-6.7) in males and females, respectively. Age-standardized rates by sex and ethnic group were compared with the highest rates in the world. We identified 392 newly diagnosed cases (292 males and 100 females) of NPC in 1996-1998 in Malaysian citizens, permanent residents of Sarawak. The Chinese are the largest nonindigenous group (27.5%). The native population (71.6%) includes the Iban, Malay, Bidayuh, Melanau, and diverse smaller ethnic groups. Sarawak State is one of the two provinces of Malaysia located on the island of Borneo. In this article, we describe evidence of a high risk of NPC in the population of Sarawak State, Malaysia, and particularly in one native ethnic group. Nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) is generally a rare malignancy with a few well-known exceptions, notably South-East China.
